This pistol started out as a 1918 vintage 1911 Colt that used to do duty behind the counter of Jack Roy's Gun Shop in Hamtramck Michigan in the 1950-1970s. I bought it in the mid 70s and had it accurized and built for an off duty gun which I ended up never carrying as to a new DA only restriction in my department.
Slide and barrel were hand fitted, MK70 barrel and micro bushing installed as were the K-38 sights. Finish is Mag na Life. Work was done by Magnaport in the late 1980s. I have shot it very little since but it will digest anything I have put thru it from Super Vel to Gold Dots. The trigger is original and has not been filed or worked on. The new owner can customize to their preference.
It is a very accurate and reliable pistol. It comes with two matching magazines. Those are rubber bumper pads on the bottom of those mags for you young guys. They are glued on and come off.
