I have a 1987 Colt DE that I am going to sell to fund the purchase of a Kimber Eclipse in 10mm. I was going to take the gun and have it customised with the features I want but I cannot bring myself to do it. I am a 1911 fan and am going to carry a 10mm in the woods when hunting in Idaho this fall. Instead of hacking up this beautiful Colt I am buying a Kimber that is already set up like I want it to be.
This Delta is probably a 99% finish gun with some very light marks on the trigger. The blueing is literally almost perfect. It has the original grips and one factory mag. I installed a one piece guide rod and 22 pound spring as i was planning on shooting the Double Tap 200 grain hard cast gas check stuff through it. I also have the factory recoil spring, guide rod and bushing that is original to the gun.
serial number is DE 077XX, manaufactured in 1987. No box or paperwork, but you will not be dissapointed with this one.
