WTT - WTS Colt Model 1911

I have an unmolested U.S. Army Model 1911 Colt 45 in original condition (except for replacement grips). serial number in 479XXX range. I would like to trade for an M1A of similar value (may Consider an M1 carbine in partial trade plus cash) or will sell for $1500/BRO. I am located in NH and will not ship must be local sale or trade.

It looks parkerized. If so, it has been molested.

Sorry but I have to agree with Wulf. Unmolested means the way it left the factory originally. Any modifications, reworks, repairs done by anyone be it a local gunsmith or government depot means molested. If it is a depot refurb thee should be a depot stamping usually but not always behind the left side of the trigger guard on the grip frame.
