WTS is an excellent condition Colt 1911A1 small G marked barrel. The markings are correct, with the P proof on the lug, Colt 45 auto on the left and small G proof on the barrel bototm. This barrel is correct for the early WWII Colt US military automatic pistols in the 1940-1942 time frame. Not many are still around, as they got used up through three wars, and countless trips to the range. The barrel is blued and has an excellent bore with no rust or pitting.
The barrel originally came to me parkerized, and I have had it professionally blued. It has no wear. I had planned to use the barrel in a restoration and was going to fire about 150 rounds through a 45 with this barrel in place to get some wear on it to match the pistol, but I found an original finish barrel, but with a much lesser bore to use instead.
It is priced at $155 shipped OBO. Will also consider trade for German WWII military holsters and spare mags. The first "I'll take it" gets it.
