This is a Open Top engraved .45

How is this? I'm very happy having a fine revolver by Cimarron. It took 13 months to get here but well worth the wait. It was about $2300 in total and I'm thrilled to look at it, and hold it.

That's very nice but I have one question: Do you have hollowpoints in it? Cause that looks strange.

I didn't mean it to be negative. I think the gun is great. Just weird to see hollowpoints in an old or repro revolver. Not a big deal.

Beautiful pistol, the engraving looks great. Have you shot it yet?

Yes I reload my rounds with Hornady 240gr XTP over 6.2 grains of Titegroup recommended by Hornady's to keep it within specs for tier 1 .45Colt. It's been safe for consumption in all my Cimarron single actions.

No I haven't wanted to shoot it yet. I didn't want to flame cut the cylinder face bluing off. I have plenty of other Open Tops that I shoot on a regular basis.

A couple of questions: What is the grip material, & what exactly I’d that finish? USA finish?
