**VOTE NOW**NEW Colt Forum Image Contest**

    ***PLEASE READ THIS FIRST***

To address some concerns about the voting we have deactivated the "Like" feature for one week until January 22 when all entries will have been submitted and the entry portion of the contest will have concluded. This will allow all the entries to be viewed and evaluated before voting begins. After 8:00 PM EST on January 22 the "Likes" will be turned on and the members will have THREE DAYS to vote (Like) their favorite images. Vote for as many as you wish but PLEASE remember, this is an image contest. Consider voting for images that are original, attractive and creative. Neither the popularity of the contestant nor the "cool factor" of the guns should be considered.

The theme for this image contest is "Can't We All Just Get Along". Your image must include at least one Colt and at least one firearm from a different manufacturer. Those donating prizes are welcome to enter the contest, I am! The contest will run from Monday January 15 at 8:00 PM EST and conclude on Monday January 22 at 8:00 PM EST. No entries will be accepted before January 15 at 8:00 PM nor after January 22 at 8:00 PM.

Entries for our contest must be posted in the Forum: Colt Forum Image Contest. **NEW Colt Forum Image Contest**. Only one entry per person please. Multiple images will be disqualified. Images must be original and taken by the submitter. If multiple images are posted I'll ask Mitch to delete all but one. If a composite image is posted (more than one image stitched together), it will have to be removed and a single image may be re-entered

Well, sure, we can all get along. Just remember though, comparing a Colt to anything else, is like comparing apples to oranges…

“It's sad that governments are chiefed by the double tongues. There is iron in your words of death for all Comanche to see, and so there is iron in your words of life. No signed paper can hold the iron. It must come from men. The words of Ten Bears carry the same iron of life and death. It is good that warriors such as we meet in the struggle of life, or death ---- it shall be life.” - Ten Bears - “The Outlaw Josey Wales”

The S&W M-60 was engraved by Ken Hurst and the Colt 1908 (25 auto) was engraved by Robert Yurina (deceased).

"AT THE END OF THE DAY". Typical of what a man would carry on him while on the job. Badge is from the Kansas City Stock Yard's Police. Colt 1892 DA in .41 Colt; made in 1893. The little hideaway/backup piece is a C.H. Ballard in .41 Rimfire; only a few thousand made in the 1870's. Pocket knife is early-mid 1800's; either French or English. Pewter flask. Dollar watch with home made fob. And of course, Roll Your Own smokes. Thanks for looking!
