    I bet it would be fun to watch him try to shoot that thing while trying to stay upright on that bike!

    I think his buddy in the sidehack is the gunner. Still would be a hoot to see it shooting. I think the Marlin 1917/1918 conversion of the 1895 to a straight piston would be less distracting than the original action.

    I had one, but whithout bike. Sold it 1989, it's now in a Swiss military museum

    Sent that pic to a friend, who is an expert in old uniforms.
    I believe that is the New York City police department around 1918. You may remember (not first hand) by 1920 there where labor riots throughout the U.S.
