What do you Think of the 45 LC version of the Anaconda? Good piece to get?

Hello all. I am considering a second colt revolver. my first was a colt python .357. I am considering now an Anaconda; 45 long colt or 44 magnum? any thoughts? what if I am getting an unfired piece for collecting purposes? will that change your answer? thank you.

If you can find a .45 Colt Anaconda...buy it. Especially if it's a 5" barrel version...rare but they're out there. I saw a new one years ago in a store when they were still in production...didn't buy it as I was going though a divorce at the time. Big mistake...shoulda found a way to buy it but that's in the past now. No do-overs.

The 5” is very rare and the 4” is also hard to come by.Id grab either one if I had the funds available, enjoy it and sell for a nice profit when I grew bored with it

The only Anaconda I got to shoot was a 6 inch .44 magnum a friend had almost 30 years ago. It was supremely accurate, 200 meter rams were a snap! Two bad things I remember about it: the cheesy rubber grips it came with practically fell apart after a few hundred rounds, and when he traded it off, I missed my chance to get it. At this late date I can't recall if he didn't offer it to me or my general prejudice against stainless steel at the time clouded my judgement.
