IM THE NEW "PLEASE HELP GUY" with some pictures of the Colt AR 15 9mm i PURCHASED

Well here is the Colt 9mm ar I picked up from a buddy today.... I think I did pretty well for 800 bucks.I think I got 17 mags...My buddy left about 5 of them loaded up with 9 mm... Got the mag carrier also...Gun seems to be in excellent shape one little scratch year the top of the mag holder in the first picture...He figures he may have 1000 round fired through the rifle since 06 when he purchased it....It really is in nice shape..Thanks again for all the help guys Thrilled to own my second colt firearm!!!!

That is an awesome score! Even aftermarket mags for that run about $30 each.

Congrats again, your carbine is a great deal!

You've got lots of mags so you don't have to get more unless you want more backup just in case, get the Metalform brand which makes most of the Colt factory mags.

I just wanted to say also as an Uzi mag owner those mags will not lock the bolt open after the last shot but the Colt type mags will lock open when empty.

Also loading these high capacity mags are kind of tiresome and I would suggest getting the LULA Colt SMG 9mm loader & unloader, (they also have another model for Uzi SMG 9mm for unmodified Uzi mags).

I've got a non Colt brand clone of the Colt 9mm carbine but with a flattop upper receiver, I've also got a pre ban UZI model B carbine .45 cal. with 9mm conversion kit.

About those scratches on the finish I use mainly Birchwood Casey aluminum black touch-up pen on my carbines and pistols, they're available at most gun shops or online.

All you need now is a bunch of ammo and have fun!
