    1851 and 1860 Colts

    Hi all,
Just sitting around watching it rain, thought i would take a few pic's of how i put my new 1851 Navy in a display box with my 1860 Army with a few item's i have picked up over the years.
I keep them in my small computer room where i can look at and handle. do some of you display any of your old guns in your man cave ? how about some pic's.
Now i got to get back to watching the rain.

I would like to see your pic's.
I always wondered why the avatar's are so small, some you can't tell what they are, why is it such a prob. to make them a little larger ? anyone know ?

Found this side table/display case at an estate sale last week. It now holds the following favorites in my den within arms reach:
    - 1863 Colt 1860 Army, all matching, original numbered grips
    - 1880 Colt .44 Frontier Six Shooter, lettered, 7.5" bbl, orig walnut grips
    - 1918 Colt DA 45 M1917 Revolver, all matching
    - 1914 Colt M1911 .45ACP, Rock Island arsenal rework

Had them in the safe for the longest time, but what's the fun in never seeing them??

Sorry to jack thread - last night , I was given this oak , brass & black felt glass top case .

ballpark measures are: hammer to muzzle is 10 1/2 “
Top cyl to bottom center TG 3 1/8 “
Rear bottom stock to hammer 6” (angled)

I will offer for free in the WTS , but would like better description for advert.
I am looking to see what fits in here. I will give away to any member ( even you ).
just would like $10 for shipping ...... it’s homemade , but worth ten bucks , thanks.

post script This has been spoken for to a member , hopefully he post a picture with it filled in a couple weeks .

My wife bought these for me several years back. Definitely not the beauties you have but I love them. 20200209_141833.jpg
