Kraaaken...I love your DB with the Detective Special grips on it...that's the way Steve McQueen carried his in "Bullett". Certainly makes it a little more concealable in a shoulder holster. I picked up an extra set of DS grips for mine just so I could set it up like that.

Heres mine with the issue grips:

Here's a pic with the DS grips...

Got one of those new King Cobras. Looks like a nice add to the collection. Hoping to get my hands on a new Python too.

An 1849 Colt Pocket Revolver with a 5” Barrel, matching numbers with excellent mechanics.

I just picked up two new Colts over the weekend...a new Python and a 1917 New Service.

The 1917 was made after WWI so it never saw any kind of action and is in great condition...the only thing wrong is the stocks which are repops. I thought so as soon as I saw the revolver...they're too good for the piece. Once I took them off the maker's stamp is inside but difficult to read. The only part I was able to read was that they were made in the USA. Since it was postwar and there was little rush to produce them it may have seen better attention paid to the finish and action...it has a buttery smooth action...far better than other 1917s I've handled. I've no idea where the revolver spent the last one hundred years...probably sent by the Army to the Post Office or other federal agency where it sat unissued or rarely taken out.

Picked up a few weeks ago from a forum member. The dback is mint and the OMM is in very good condition. Both are .22 caliber.

I passed on. Nickel Trooper at a gunshow this past weekend. Asking price was too much and condition was poor... a lot of cloudy and holster wear . For $100 bucks more, this Trooper was awaiting a new daddy. It cleaned up nicely.
