    Two new Cobra variants?

I just found these for sale:

Not one I have seen before. Wish it wasn't a DAO. I remember the DS2 had a 'night' version.

    2 tone Cobra:

The Night Cobra has been out for a while. The other is probably a distributor special. TALO Cobras have already been made with a standard matte finish on the frame and an ultimate polish on the cylinder. Colt has also released a Cobra with a complete ultimate polish.

Guess I never looked close at these before. That trigger guard shape just does not look good to me. I think it ruins the aesthetics of the revolver.

I acquired these a few weeks ago.

I think the talos recently came out. This is the cheapest I've seen them. I haven't seen them less than $725.

    They shoot great in imo.

I put half down on a Night Cobra last week on a whim. Layaway online. Will pick it up in the next couple of weeks. Supports Colt and I get an interesting revolver. Not many reviews on it yet.
I have read the double action is smooth. I have not heard about point of aim accuracy. I'm sure it's heavy.
    New Colt revolver, why not?
The Night Cobra became available early this year.

The awaited BSTS new Cobra has now popped up on GB.
Will be interesting to see how the BSTS looks in person, and if the front sight is acceptable.

I'd like to see a satin finish Cobra...would be much nicer appearing than the matte stainless and more practical than the ultimate. I would buy one of them if Colt provided them...plus a 3" and one in .2LR. But that's an old argument.

I don't own one, but the bright stainless is on my radar since they announced them. My father had a S&W in the similar configuration the last few years (Don't know the model, I can never keep S&W numbers straight in my head except for the 625 and variants) and we shot it this past summer, it just wasn't accurate. Sure, we don't expect great accuracy from a snubbie but it was even worse than an expected minimum.

He was saying that the Cobra was something he was interested in, next thing I know the S&W is gone and he shows up with a new Cobra when he came to visit in October. Back to the range.... That Cobra can SHOOT!! We went from underwhelmed with the S&W to exceeding expectations with the Cobra.
