Good for Colt with quick customer service. Bad for Colt not tightening the sight screw properly before shipping it. I know stuff happens but when shipping a new product knowing your corporate survival may depend on its public acceptance and quality control one would think they would make sure such entirely preventable things don't occur to begin with.
Bad publicity can sink any new product introduction. Kudos to Colt for responding immediately and kudos to Mitch for substituting the sight from existing inventory to make the customer happy. Until the new sight arrives you have a revolver you can't sell, tying up your inventory dollars...good customer service. Many gun stores would simply order the new front sight and let the customer wait.
