I'm going tomorrow also and hope Colt has something new to show us. A new Diamondback would use the same frame as the Cobra and would be nice in stainless.

Word at SHOT was that it'll be a 4" with adjustable sights.

Presumably stainless but I am not sure whether to expect wood or rubber grips. I've always liked wood medallion grips on Colts-which is why mine has them.

This KC is what I really wanted/want, but I had to get a Cobra to tide me over until these become available

Now if they release a model with a 5" or 6" barrel with adjustable sights...and in .22LR as well as .357.

Colt released the King Cobra Carry with a 2" barrel and a bobbed hammer. So no 4" with adjustable sights yet. Colt had a rather large booth at the NRA convention and it was fun chatting with the sales manager Kamil Mroczka, he's a very knowledgeable guy and a credit to the company.

Thanks for the updates. While I am glad to see Colt returning the revolver to their line, I refuse to purchase one with a bobbed hammer. Just my preference. I bought a new Cobra with a hammer and carry it in my pocket, sans holster, no problems with snagging. Colt did a very good dehorn job on the Cobra, leaving a carry gun with a functional single action.

I also don't care for bobbed hammers and this new KC Carry seems like an easy modification for Colt to make just to show a slightly new model. We'll see what comes next.
