    Colt Cobra Front Sight

Am not a fan of the factory front sight on the new Cobra. I've seen one or two with a conventional or gold bead. Where are these gotten from, can't find anything on line.

The Classic Cobra has a brass bead. Someone wiser than I will have to advise about a vendor.

Colt's authorized parts sellers are MidwayUSA and Brownells. Parts are normally out of stock most of the time but you can order them and they'll be shipped to you when they receive the parts. I'm waiting for two of the tritium front sights now...they had them in stock but I was too slow at making the order. I'm in no rush so I'll eventually received them.

Doing a bit of checking, the slot in the Cobra barrel takes a .125 blade and there are plenty of those out there. The 1911 "wide tenon" types can be fitted. So can Smiths interchangeable and even Dan Wesson. The Smith interchangeable plain Patridge is easy to fit and dress down to proper height.
