Well another Nickel 22 BANKERS sold

This one just sold Sunday and I would say it most likely isn't factory engraved or nickel plated but it still had lots of bidders....

Wow, BIG money for a gun that appears to be refinished with custom engraving. Makes the one you bought a true bargain in comparison!

    That is utterly insane..! Lol...

Engraving and re-finish are likely a few months old at most...it is ugly and badly faked, badly done...brutally and badly re-finished...

The 'engraving' looks like those designs from Custom Car Shows where they do stuff like that on the Glass and then have the name "Tiffany" in 'script' with floating 'Hearts' around it.

Sold for $9,650.00 and 103 Bids?

    Oye!

Insane...how is one to understand this?

Stocks ought to be worth $150.00 any Day, but...it all falls off fast and hard, after that...

I agree completely, contemporary engraving. Probably a BS with finish issues that was turned into a project. The box looks....uh.....fresh

wow, crazy, talk about a marketing ploy with a write up like that, at the end saying not the original box and was engraved after leaving factory. But they have old props in the pictures.

Most interesting info in this sale is the bidder history! At around $3,000 a guy with +26 feedback bid the price up at least 70 times (@$50.00 increments) with another coming in at the $1,000 levels. I'm guessing maybe (2) shills.

It will be interesting to see if the gun is relisted at some point for non-payment. These kinds of off-the-chart sales seem to be more common place lately.

A sad situation for honest buyers and sellers.

Any comments on the seller? With such supposed high qualifications, did they misrepresent the item or did they just get carried away with their glowing description? Should they have known it was not the original finish? They did state it was not factory engraved and that it was not the original box.
