It’s a rare snake gun only 1200 were made. 600 with a 4 inch barrel and 600 with a 6 inch barrel. I think they made 100 sets with one of each in a case.
Can I play? So this is my “boa”. Colt sold off a lot of its older DA parts a while back and I snagged this barrel. So I have found 2 ways to determine if a boa is an actual boa without a letter. Can you name them?

Their serial numbers all had a "BOA" prefix. The only other distinct thing about them I'm aware of is the muzzle profile...the ribbed barrel looks like a Python at a quick glance but the muzzle is finished very different. It's more like the original King Cobra but not quite.
Yep, unique serial numbers with boa as part of the serial number. One more feature on my ex-trooper MKV (hint) that can be spotted without opening the cylinder to check the serial number.
No V on any KC's
Only Lawman and Trooper Mark V's will have the V on the sideplate.
