My local gun shop has this Lawman .357 for sale. It is marked used, but other than a light turn line, appears unfired, Zero carbon on cylinder, forcing cone area, etc. The gun is 99%+ minus turn ring. Comes with the original woodgrain Colt box and everything Colt shipped the gun from the factory with. Dealer said he’d take $900.00. What say you guys, fair price? I know it’s no bargain, but it is pristine. Looks better in person than my cell phone pics.
Although having the factory box is a plus Id say he's still a little high on that one. The later Lawman MKIII snubby's with the shrouded ejector rod tends be more popular and to go for about what he's asking for that one. He's around $150 to $200 high currently on that model.
Very early example but that doesn't necessarily translate to more desirability. Nice piece...$800-$850 gun unless you really want it or it fills a hole in your collection. It is a fine, heavy-duty .357 revolver.
Front sight is factory correct for that year/model. I'd grab it for $900, provided the box is original. I you should decide to pass on the gun please PM me...
Going to pick it up at 10am today. The box is original to the gun. Box also appears mint like the gun. Someone bought this one and put it away in a safe place until last week.
Love the gun, but not crazy about the box and reproduction label. This is what an original box & label look like:
