Outstanding, and worthy of the trophies.
What does the Colt letter say, and as I am always curious how such artifacts make their way into a collector's hands, can you share any known history of the revolver after Prince Arthur died in 1938 ?

Excellent display as usual Cam! I really enjoy the displays and the effort you put into them for a historical lesson. Well done. Ron

One great display. I was there, but had no idea as to who anyone was. Next time I will have my own badge with my altered-ego.

Funny that you should ask because I was thinking of that when I took a seat. Then Paul asked me to move down and you guessed it, back to the same seat as last year. If I ever get lucky enough to win another I will stand.

Thanks for your interest and here is a copy of the letter. The gun has been in a collection in England for the last ten years and while I knew about it the opportunity to purchase the gun just happened this year. The letter shows that it was in Ron Ogan's collection back in the 1980s and before that, I can't say. The gun remains in new and unfired condition and I don't think it ever left the case it was in for all these years.
