    Early Colt Cobras, 4"

A friend of mine has a set of three early Colt Cobras, all blued. Calibers and DOMs are: 38 special (1950), 32 NP (1962), and 38 NP (1957). All have 4" barrels. All are in at least 98% condition and all original. My question is this: Are the 4" barrels a plus or a minus in determining the value of such a set?

Well don't have much to say on the values but just asking are they square butt or round frame guns....

The 38NP's value is in the rarity of it's caliber...a very hard to find Cobra in any length barrel....

    I have 2 38 NP's both are 2" guns.....I could use a 4" myself go gettem Russ....

I may have Snakeguy and Snakeman confused......sorry

I have Cobras in every barrel length...2", 3", 4" and 5". Most are .38 Special but the two 3" examples are .22LR and .32NP (NIB).

This is just my opinion but there are many more 2 inch guns that I see than 4 inch. It sounds like a set worth going after. In the condition you speak of I'm guessing $3K considering a 38NP in a Cobra is rare.

Always have gotten a big premium for the 4”. The 38NP is one I have never even seen.
