    Inherited a colt pistol I don't know anything about it

    I was left this gun by my grandfather I can't find this exact gun anywhere. It says 32 police ctg it's a 2.5 barrel the finish is a dull grey not shiny not blued. Any info would surely be appreciated

    Looks like a pocket positive. If so made in 1928. It may also be a cut down police positive. If so made in 1917. Refinished to what you see. Not a collectable piece, the refinish killed that. Ammo is still available.

    I believe that’s a police positive. According to serial number lookup its a 1916.

    Barrel looks longer than 2.5". Measure from the face of the cylinder...then enjoy it.
