Question about grips and holsters for new Cobra and Python

Would anyone please advise if the new Cobra and Python use holsters and grips that fit the original models.
    Thanks in advance

You'll have problems with the Cobra due to the trigger guard. The new Python is an open question...I would hope the 6" barrel model will fit the same but the 4 1/2" barrel model likely won't unless the holster is open at the bottom.

As far as stocks go...the new Cobra will use the same as the older D-frame...the same goes for the Python...same as the old models.

Supposedly, the new Python's grip frame is identical to the original Python's E/I-frame grip frame. The new Cobras have a grip frame identical to the original post-66 D-frame, but I understand that it is necessary to acquire the locating pin, which is not present due to the factory grips supplied by Hogue.

I would assume a new Python will fit the same holsters as an old model of like barrel length. Don't know about the new Cobras.

I can't speak for the Python but the Night Cobra doesn't fit the older holsters. It "almost" fits in my Galco Combat Master for my Smith K snub-it goes in fine but hangs up on the draw. Definitely needs a dedicated holster.

I ordered one for my 4.25 a few weeks ago. Just had the barrel .25 added. I do not know for sure holster will be here end of February.

Never mind... frustrated with these grips. Will keep fiddling with them... Disregard.
