    1966 Buntline Scout 22lr

Here's a humble little Colt, but one I couldn't resist. I'll never be able to afford any other buntline, and this is good fun. It's a 1966, so not a steel frame. The finish is blued barrel and a black coating of some kind on the rest. The condition is close to unfired, with a little holster wear. It came with a floral holster that just needed a little leather treatment, and came right up. It's a 9 1/2 inch barrel.

You don't see a lot of these up my way, and often they are chipped up and pitted pretty badly. Anyway, here's a few pictures for your enjoyment.

The little flourish of engraving on the grip but caught me by surprise. Nice touch.

Thx, nice to see your Colt! I have a New Frontier .22 that I’ve had for over 40 years.

Great little gun! Well, not so little with that barrel - very cool! I'd love to have one someday.

    Nice gun!
This Peacemaker Buntline was the first handgun I ever owned. It still makes appearances at the range.
