Watch a .357 Magnum Round Impact ! + More High Speed Ammo Video

You may have seen this. If not it is 357 Magnum round in action - no wonder people carry them for Self-Defense:

Though on Youtube, the link comes from Brass Fetcher, which, if you don't know it, has many caliber tests besides the 357. Interesting!

    High Speed Video

And the YouTube link for 357 Magnum:

(And This is ridiculous, never heard of it: Extreme Shock 50 BMG FHV : 50 BMG vs Ballistic Gel - YouTube )

I'm somewhat shocked by the .22 LR velocitor round. In a pinch a simple .22 rifle is a very formidable defense weapon.

Not to mention a 69 gr Federal BTHP that clocks in at 2750 fps at 100 yards. I'd post the picture of the coyote taken with the trusty Mini14 on monday but it would certainly not be an appropriate visual before our member's lunchtime. The wife asked if I used a cannon.

Brass Fetcher really shows how it is - many surprises.

    Wow...very interesting Videos.

Yeahhhh, the 'extreme shock' .50 BMG is a little curious - as if the regular or any standard .50 BMG round would not be???

My first to hear of the extreme shock 50 BMG round too. My take on it is that a 'standard' 50 BMG used in an urban surrounding may take out the target and then some! I'm thinking the idea here is to expend it's energy on the target and not do any more harm. Found this video: Extrme Shock 50BMG FHVL 675gr.wmv - YouTube

I'll tell you one thing, you'd have to sell your house for target-money. You could've won WWII with that thing.
