I'm sure you mean John Dillinger not Derringer.

    Rick.
Rick Derringer, formerly lead singer and frontman for the McCoys.

Dillinger's Derringer from the ei8ht Collection...

Here is the very rare Wooden Derringer
Whittled by Dillinger to make his daring jail escape so long ago
that recently sold for 8.8 Million Dollars at Auction...

Posting Guns on here can be fun,
sometimes it is a real chore to find something to share
since you have all seen what I have many times.

A new hamerless to the accumulation is rare
because of what I gather. There are only a few
Police Marked Pistols that become available from
time to time and I am not the only one seeking them.

The New Made U.S Armament 1903's are interesting
(14 in the pile) but until the new M1908 380's are released
(Soon I hear) there is nothing really new out there that I like.

Time for a break me thinks.
So I will leave you with my favorite new pistol...
Yes you have seen it before....
    But I really like it.

    It is what it is....

8 Consecutive Serial Numbered U.S Armament 1903 hammerless...

    Ei8ht:
If I ever come in contact with a model M 1908 cop gun, and especially a type II, I do solemnly promise to put you on the case.

    The rest of you:
My interests are somewhat broader, and certainly less burdensome financially. That doesn't mean I won't at least try to compete for the lesser pistols, but realistically, I have to take what I can get. There is a bleepload of type III .32s in the pile. My idea originally, was to accumulate some trade fodder, but the ones I would trade away are not necessarily what others would consider desirable, condition-wise.

It is weakness, I know, but to my sense of style and purpose, there is no small pistol that compares to the Colt model M 1903/08 pocket hammerless.
And the model N ain't far behind.
    And the FN model 1906.
And others that are further out of reach for simple peasants such as myself.

    I am not completely insane.
In fact, I have made a committed effort to pass some pieces along; not model Ms or Ns, mind you, but truly fine Colts & S&Ws all the same.
Right..... Two sent out (and one of 'em still sittin' there), and two 'new' ones added to the pile....Duh.
    But I ain't crazy.
    Honest.

Ei8ht, have you seen the newest offering on the model M? They made a 500 edition of George Patton model. It looked nice but I'm not sure if it's engraved or is it some cheap way of enhancing the look. Just wondering if you saw it. I also love the badge incorporation with the pistol from the same department that you posted. It gives it that much more on how far you went to complete your collection.
