I am hopeful that there is an FN model 1922 somewhere down the line for my pile.
As long as we're here, I would like to see some 1922s if y'all have any.
An old picture, some of these have "gone down the road" and more added...

Looks like it has the "French cut" lanyard loop.

Ei8ht......since you now have me successfully hooked on Hammerless, could you please share with us an up close and personal photo of your storage system (pistol racks)?

Damn, my safe is filling up fast! The Hyskore racks do a great job with larger frame pistols & revolvers but my new love- Woodsman and Hammerless Pockets do not fit in that system so well!

By no means do I have the collection of other members and especially Eight but here is something I built. It can be made in any length but I chose this length. Until I retired, I had plans for more.
It is oak and has wooden dowels and felt protectors so no metal is touching wood.

    Feeling kind of frustrated

Yup. Title says it all. Red tape is slow as molasses.
I've got a couple of things on the oven. None of them relateded to this thread(they all have visible hammers). I already spilled the beans on one of them. It's a Sig P210 from the Danish contract, made in the first year(1949), it is not a true pure collector item(and I intend to use it in competition), it was refurbished, either by the Danes themselves or by Sig who bought back(and resold) some of the pistols the Danish surplused in the 80s. I bought it from another EU Country, so redtape is humongous. I need Portuguese papers to allow transference from another EU Country(submitted almost three weeks ago, but still no joy) then there will be papers from the origin Country allowing transference to Portugal(another 3 to 4 weeks). When you buy something solely based on pictures you always take a "leap of faith". I will only be reassured when it's finally on my little(not at all that little really ) greedy hands.

Another one is a local buy (from a dear friend, mentor and shooter companion who's parting with some of his accumulation). From this one I don't need pictures, 'cause I know it well, and even was the last person to shoot it(I've been sometimes used as a "stand in" for a Ransom rest for testing guns and reloads). It will be the only pistol, besides the Lugers, of which I will have more than one of the exact same model (in this case they are even made in the same year (1910), but condition makes them look a Century apart). Papers for the ownership transference were also submited almost 3 weeks ago... I've been told patience is a virtue. It's a lie. Patience is THE virtue.

Edit. Sorry for the rant, but I got nothing better to do. And no new model Ms to show.

    I share your pain,
Your bureaucracy is somewhat similar to ours, but yours is worse.
We just survived a potential Country wide handgun ban thats been hanging over our heads for almost a year. The legislation has been shelved for now......hopefully the current Federal Government doesn't get re-elected in October. Enough of politics and regulations, lets see some Hammerless!
My rainy day contribution, click on the pic's for a larger view!

No apology necessary. You are not alone. I am not entirely sure about importation on this side of the pond, but I do know it gets (needlessly) complicated. There are many items that cannot be sent to Canada from here, and the state of Kalifornistan has even more ridiculous, onerous, oppressive, and anti-U.S. constitutional 'law' of their own.
None of it makes a helluva lot of sense.
The BATFE here is charged with the responsibility of accounting for all firearm transfers that go by way of FFL hoders. That would be just the ones they handle themselves. There are warehouses chock full of paper files of transfers that will never be of any use or purpose to any one, both on account of constitutional legal restrictions, but more because of the sheer numbers involved. They know it, and many of the agents are more interested in actual crime than regulating non-crime. Even then, some of the less aware, more ignorant types (who are a full 10% of any population pool) will go out of their way to split hairs against the legitimate trade in firearms. Then of course, there is , the Justice Department sponsored gun-running conspiracy that netted zero criminals, and actually led to the violent deaths of U. S. Border Patrol agents. Abssolutly shameful. And still, it is the law abiding citizen whose bleep is caught in the wringer.
I applied for an NFA tax stamp and it was nearly 11 months before it was rubber stamped and sent back.
    Nonsense.
    Rant over.
I usually apologize for this kind of thing, but not today.

On a brighter note, yesterday, I drove on up to the trading post and walked out with a very nice S&W model 59, original box & papers, and 6 magazines. Very reasonable $.
I'll find a spot to post some pics when I can get 'em up.
