It's finally cool enough here to wear an overshirt so I pulled out the old shoulder holster and have been carrying one of my 1903s with the FN 1906 as my pocket backup.
Each cool season when I put on the shoulder holster I remember just how comfortable this rig really is and wish it was more than just a few months when it was cool enough to use it.
Colt 1903 (1922) in my small Bianchi X-15 holster.
Ran by my local range to make sure the new recoil and striker springs were working in the FN 1906 Vest Pocket that was made back in 1912-1913. They were and it too is simply an absolute joy to shoot, either aimed or simply chest high, arms against body, point&pull. Double taps and triple taps are easy and grouping are always jess satisfactry.

Found this one in Wilmington, Ohio at the OGCA show last weekend. Always something good to be found.
Colt 1908 .380 with factory pearl grips and original box. It was made in 1931. Bought it from a friend who
won't sell me the absolutely mint nickel 380 with pearls new in box he showed me. If you see this, hope you will change
your mind. It is not right to bait me. Hey look at this one. Oh you can't buy it, but you can buy this one.
