    1911 lead RN jamming

Howdy, new owner of a lightweight Colt commander. Shooting steel and running reloads with factory specs and lead roundnosed. Last round in magazine hangs up and doesn't load. Take that round and put in a different position and it loads fine. Always last round never any other position. Ideas?

new magazine? try a different magazine. fmj ammo have any issues? I don't shoot lead bullets in my 1911's anymore due to feed issues. I shoot only factory spec FMJ 230 gr ball ammo.

If it's an 8 round mag replace the spring with one for a 7 round

Yeah several 1911’s I’ve owned did not like lead RN or SWC. The easy fix for that was I just quit shooting them and problem solved
