I own a Colt Woodsman 1st Series Match Target with elephant ear grips which are in perfect shape. I am a collector but I also like to shoot my pistols. I worry every time I shoot this pistol that I will damage the grip accidently. Does anyone know where to find some grips ( wood or plastic ) that I can put on this pistol when I want to go to the range with it.
All advise is appreciated.
Thanks a lot,
Have you considered the standard military stocks for your MTW?

If you would be interested in a set like this, send me a PM. I might be able to scare up a set for your gun. That way you will still have "target" grips, just not super expensive ones! The best of both worlds!
For cheap, try plastic ebay or others as mentioned above.
I personally would consider the plastic military grips especially if your Bullseye went to the military. That way you can pass it down or sell it as a package.Attachment 626633Attachment 626635

There are at least a dozen pair of plastic grips for a 1st Series Woodsman on eBay, or check the Gunbroker link for a pair of plastic Military grips.
