    Your #C65611 is in amazing condition!

    I bought one of these C-Serial Numbered guns, and hoped for the best on the Colt letter. Not a beauty like yours, but one that shows some degree of use. The letter confirmed 45/c, 5", Blue, SNL, Shipped To Simmons Hdwe Co., St. Louis, MO on 5-31-1917, 50 Guns.

    Nice piece. I have a friend that has one that made it to Russia and back, complete Cyrillic writing and Russian markings. It does not look quite that nice as your piece though.
