    If you can get it for $800, get it fast. Wouldn’t last in my LGS at or near that price. If you want to make some $, realist it here or sell it to me.

    The stocks are 13 row Colt, but still a bonus.

    A lot of the 1960's NRA/DCM Sales pistols were Model 1911's fresh from rebuild, and the pistol shown is typical other than the parts mentioned.

    As been said this is a fair price. I’ve had 3 similar guns over the years. They can be wonderful shooters, full of history that make them a joy to own, at least for me.

    there is a similar one for auction on GB ,, not as nice condition as this one here ,but no arsenal overhaul stamps.

    Unfortunately no. The shop was into it for quite a bit more than we thought and even with my discount it would have been a lot more than I was willing to pay.

    Arsenal refinished 1911s were $500 guns 25 years ago. I'm sure the pawn shop can surf the internet and see they go for a lot more today. Then ask even more. Let me guess: $1999 right?
