    Late 1913 Colt M1911

    I picked this gun up 3-4 months ago and finally photographed it last night. Shipped 3 December 1913 to Springfield Armory.

    Just gorgeous!

    Wow!

    Sure would have been fun to get the "Tour" back then of the Factory, and to get to see rows-n-rows of these in those quint, patina'd Wooden Trays and Racks, and the Inspectors adding their Stamps to them one by one...

    I'd gave to grab a Chair Back to steady myself I think!
