    Colt 22 Conversions Units

Did Colt 22 conversion units come with adjustable sights? I have only seen a few (all with floating chambers) and they all were fixed sights.

Strange coincidence for you, since fixed-sight Conversion Units are far less common that Conversion Units with adjustable sights. Some would even say fixed-sight Conversion Units are scarce.

You need to slow down on posting. You have racked up 87 posts in fifteen years, a blazing average of fewer than six posts per year!

Thanks for the info. I really needed that kick in the pants. I'll work like #@&% to get up to a 7 posts a year average.

    rmc25,

Yes, most COLT Conversion Units came with Adjustable Sights,---from the early prototypes June/July 1938 (with Stevens Adj. Sight) up through the COLT ACE II (not made by COLT) made in 1998 (with Stepped Accro Adj. Sight). There are many pictures on this Forum: https://www.coltforum.com/forums/sea...archid=8900303

AFAIK, there are only TWO versions of COLT .22 C.U.s with Fixed Sights both made in the 1981 - 1983 time frame. They have different left side Roll Stamps. And, they are Not common. (There are some Crazy Conversion Unit Collector's still searching for a Fixed Sight Version of the Rare 1995 COLT C.U. [about 235 units])

    Best Regards,

You may have to upgrade your hardware to achieve that lightening speed!
