    It was in the Gus C collection at one time .If you want a good laugh look at some of the other lots serial number 75 1911.

    Very odd-looking repair. I'm not sure what it is, but when I first saw it, it thought someone had taken it to a auto-body shop instead of a gunsmith...

    Gus use to wear a red satin baseball type jacket around the old Houston Astro Hall show with "Accumulator of .45's" embroidered on the back. A .45 was a .45 to Gus.
