    Two recent acquisitions

The 1908 was shipped to Praeger Hdw in San Antonio. The Woodsman to Wolf & Klar in Austin. Both are factory engraved.

Nice package, I assume you got factory letters on both since you know provenance and that they are factory engraved? If any two pistols are worthy of lettering these are it. Thanks for sharing with us, they're worthy of bragging rights.

I believe Wolf and Klar was located in Ft. Worth, unless they had another store. I have a picture of their storefront that I have posted on here somewhere before..... you might do a search in the forum if interested.

The 1908 went for about $8500 (including the BP). Hammer was $6750.

Had to chuckle when I saw the estimate of $1K-2K; knew it would go far north of that.

    Nice guns, Opentop. Really nice.

Cool stuff. Is the holster stamped with a maker's mark and does the Woodsman letter with ivory?
