    Question SAA hammer frame screw

in the pic,the screw on the right is from a late 3rd Generation Colt. Anybody know what the screw on the
    left goes with?

Without dimensions, it would be impossible to give a positive id. But it looks like the screw that holds the lever on the trigger plate of a Marlin lever action rifle.

Bibbyman, That is a great observation!! There is a similar screw that is used on old model 70 rifles, I believe.

Its so close I'm inclined to think its another version of an SAA hammer screw. Maybe another maker's, maybe not. The threads do not look different to my eye, but the difference between gen 1 and gen 2/3 hammer screw thread is supposed to be 24 vs 28 tpi.

I've had to find decent hammer screws for several clones in recent years...

Hawes takes gen 2 size screw
GWA uses both over their run
Uberti uses a gen 1 size
