    Recommendations on a Paladin rig

Recommendations and thoughts on a quality Paladin rig would be appreciated.
My wife said she would buy me one! We just got through watching one of the old shows on TV.

    Ya mean like this one?...

You can get a rig from a vendor on eBay...pretty decent quality...https://www.ebay.com/itm/D-A-D-CUSTO...cAAOSwr81UNbF7. There are some similar used ones on eBay as well but some are for kids.

    Have gun .
    Will travel.
I wish I had the background to appreciate it when I was a kid.
Fortunately, there is an hour of it every Saturday morning, and although some of it is typically corny, it is a far-reaching, broad adventure story that delves into some og the more complex issues of human nature.
I missed all that the first time around, as well as the classic literary references in each story.
    I always like that rig.
    Duh.
While we're here, wasn't Richard Boone's Browning High Power on here someplace with confirmed provenance from his widow?

Many thanks for the link. No, I don't think I'd give $600.

In one of gun writer doc O'Meara's books he writes up Richard's Boone's Browning that he bought in 1970 and his widow later sold. Boone was not a gun guy and was actually extremely slow on the draw with a Colt. Or his "custom made Hamilton", according to Paladin in the show. Sure looks like a Colt to me! When I ordered my lefty 7 1/2" black Ojala rig in 1985 it cost $200 shipped. The "Paladin" was a hundred bucks more. Ojala told me that the horse on the holster looked better for a left hander since it faced forward. It's on the right here. Still fits, but on the last hole.

Fabulous. I'm a longtime capgun holster collector/holstorian/repro maker and have a huge image collection of same. I've catalogued 3,000 different capgun holster sets :-). In that era the capgun brand was irrelevant; it was the holster set that kids were sold on, and the guns were an add-on to complete the set only. A dealer could specify which capgun he wanted included and the brand of it was typically not even mentioned in advertising and brochures.

They were made with the chesspiece and with the above; and with an imprint of the chesspiece.
