Made a holster for my 45 auto

A few weeks back i picked up a new RIA 45 1911 for under $400....so when hurricane Dorian whiled by a few weeks ago now i whipped up a simple holster for it. Now to take it out and shoot a few rounds.....

Cool, much better than I could do. Closed on my house in New Bern just days before Dorian. Sick of mopping up from Florence - Ouch!!! and all previous others. As well as moving guns to higher ground.IMG_1801.jpg

That's a really nice holster, Mark. I could never do it, but that's a great fish, Ted.

Oh that is just awesome. I do minor work with leather but nothing quite like that. To be honest, I mostly just install spikes of various lengths into preexisting leather items such as jackets, boots, etc.

Ted, nice Red Drum! I'm guessing about 35 pounds? NC has the IGFA world record at 94 pounds!
