    SAA 1937 with holster

About 25 years ago, I found this 1937 SAA 44-40 with a Heiser holster 424. I think the gun was made late in 1937 ?

Hans, you have two real treasures in outstanding condition. I don't think I have ever seen pistol grips with a horned toad motif.

Well, Hans, your second picture does let me see a rendition of a flying eagle. If it were me, I would prefer the toad but regardless, you have a fantastic treasure.

A very nice gun and grips. You should get a Colt letter, as those carved grips look original. Whoa! You probably cannot get a letter as some grinch stole that last SAA shipping ledger 1934-1940's.
