I saw Takei's name in the credits but missed him in the movie...wasn't able to watch the entire time. If I did see him I failed to recognize him.

Asphalt Jungle (1950) - Sterling Hayden pulled a heist then went into a diner where the owner, presumably a buddy accomplice hid his gat in the cash register right before the cops came in to roust Hayden as a suspect.
Would this be the appropriate thread for TV shows too?
An odd but still entertaining movie.
This all started with one gun!

Worst movie I ever saw.

I thought it was pretty funny as long as you don't take it seriously. Would like to see a full movie on Buster Scruggs alone.
It had a certain entertainment value I guess. There were some parts I couldn't wait for to be over, like the traveling story teller and the stage coach ride at the end. The rest was watchable at least and they did a pretty good job with the guns. "The Hateful Eight" now there's a movie that never should have been made, Kurt Russell must have been on the skids to have starred in that mess!
Coen Brother movies require a perverted sense of humor to appreciate them. I apparently have that perverted sense of humor because I like everything they have made. Fargo, The Big Lebowski, No Country For Old Men, O Brother Where Art Thou, Hail Caesar, A Serious Mind, and a few others come to mind. I find them all entertaining so I am looking forward to The Ballad of Buster Scruggs. What could be better than a cowboy movie with guns and horses?
