So, I'm sitting here on couch watching my ALL TIME FAVORITE OLYMPIC SPORT.... women's ice skating. Also browsing through GB finding a engraved BHP I don't have. Pulled up a photo of my personal Renaissance(pictured) and the Louis XVI....... SHE stated the Ren is beautiful and HERS and I need to put her name on it. Looks like I just got permission to get another BHP...... how often does that happen. Even told her the pricing.
Several Colts...... and some guns I actually shoot.
Good for her. Better for you.
My wife has claimed my Para P14 and my S&W 624, my line in the sand was with my Pythons.
The lady has good taste.
My wife didn't care for my Renaissance Hi-Power (thank goodness) but she annexed this 1903 S&W as soon as it came in the door.

Well, that should take care of Valentines Day!
I no longer have a 3" S&W Model 65. Now I have to ask permission before I take it to the range. Could be worse.
Women don't seem to understand the attachment we develop with our firearms, when my wife shot my 65-5 3" ladysmith she instantly claimed it as her own. She just expected me to give it up like a old shirt or a worn out pair of boots. I said no, she said yes, I miss my 3" 65-5 ladysmith.
My wife understands...almost too well. She's into Winchester slide action rifles and Smith & Wesson Ladysmiths (the old ones). Here's a pic of her Third Model Target:
