Glad to have you back!
I've been pretty absent for quite some time. Popped on today to see what was going on.
I haven't lost interest but I've been out of collecting for a while. In fact I've been selling. Three of my Colts are gone and probably more to go before too long. I've only been working 4 day weeks since last August since the AR15 industry has basically tanked. I'm actually surprised we're still in business. But we got a big foreign order that we are going to start filling this coming August so hopefully we get back to working 5 days a week again. And then its an election year which brings on panic buying usually.
Other than that I've been taking an online course in piano tuning and repair. Unfortunately my tinnitus prevents me from being able to tune aurally. I've been using an online app electronic piano tuning device which seems to work okay but I get a little discouraged hearing from other established piano tuners that apps are fine but to be a real piano tech you need to be able to do it aurally.
Anyway, that's my life at the moment. I hope all of you are well.
Here's a gun:

As for tuning a piano I couldn't even tune a guitar. Playing the guitar for me seemed like hard work.
One advantage of having too many guns is that when finances get a bit short you can always get a few bucks some how. I did this a couple of times, although I was forced to give a few away. Had I of been more computor savvy back then I might have been able to sell online rather then be at the mercy f a LGS.

I like the look of that old Colt!! I bet it is a good shooter.
I wondered where you have been. We miss your input and hope you check back in often. Good luck with whatever you decide to do in the future.
Welcome back. Missed hearing your input. Good luck with your tuning career. I can barely tune a guitar and then only with an electronic tuner.

Welcome back, and thanks for checking in. I just took my wife to Ogunquit for her birthday last Saturday. It was nice to get away. I hope things go well.

Good to hear from you. Really hope everything works out for you and remember, you can tune a piano but you can’t tuna fish. Love the revolver. Stop by once in a while.
