Perfect for whacking surly bartenders in the nose Well done, sir!
"He raised quickly his pistol--a self-cocker-- within a foot of my breast. Retreating rapidly across the room, he cried, "Quien es? Quien es?" All this occurred more rapidly than it takes to tell it. As quick as possible I drew my revolver and fired, threw my body to one side, and fired again. The second shot was useless. The Kid fell dead at the first one." ~ Pat Garrett 1882

That is a nice job on their 'original' finish. They (Cimarron) did an absolutely crap job on the '51 Navy cartridge conversion revolver that I bought from them several years ago. I complained about the extra $160 charge for that finish but I never heard back from them, which is why I would never purchase another firearm from them WITHOUT seeing it in person first.

I think I know which is the 'original' -- who made the saber?

Mansfield & Lamb, or so that is what I was told. The Inspector Stamp is L.D. on the pommel and he only Inspected their shipment in 1862.

This looks to be a popular, and classic, pose. My old Walker replica and 1962 Providence Tool Co. Cavalry Sword.

Now to finish it, you need to bogger up a few screw slots.
