    Decent Ammo Prices

    CDNN has some 44 40 for $28.99 + $3.99 flat rate shipping.

SG ammo has some 45 Colt for $23.95 + $12.00 flat rate shipping.

I do reload, but all the ranges close to me now do not allow home rolled ammo, factory only. At least I can save the brass.

    Y'all git sum!

SG Ammo seems to have the best prices overall.
They had the best case price on factory Remington .38 Super ammo, so we bought a case to get new brass as my brass has been loaded many times only to have Midway list new Remington nickel brass on sale so I ended up with ammo and brass.

There's some good deals out there and with a bit of internet shopping they can be found.

    The common 9mm and 7.62 x 51 and 5.56 aren't even worth loading anymore.

I'm curious how they know it's home brewed ammo, Gator? Can't you just put it in an old factory box and go shooting?

I am sure you could, but what IF something happens...

I will just get to work and set up a place to shoot outdoors on the property my wife and her sisters inherited from their father, but it is an hour away from my residence.

There is a saying, "when ammo is cheap then stack it deep". 22LR here has come down to $20 for 500. There were years it was $125 for 500. Ammo here disappeared off the shelves for 2 solid years and the prices got outrageous. It's good it's getting cheaper but things can change over night.. Enjoy shooting as its great fun but plan ahead.

My local gun store has better prices on ammo than what you quote.

    My range allows reloaded ammunition.

Nutbush is a town in Tennessee, Nutbush City Limits is a song, originally performed by Ike & Tina Turner and covered by many others. Bob Segar did an excellent job performing Nutbush City Limits.

I may not reside at the Nutbush City Limits, but my avatar might from time to time.

I lived in Peachtree Corners for 5 years, 1/2014 to 3/2019 and never stumbled across that store or big bore ammo at that price. The Cabela's in Acworth usually had cowboy ammo at close to $40 + tax per box. The Dick's in PTC sold American Eagle 45 Colt for ~$35 +tax per box.

And Norcross Gun Club & Range allows reloads, I was a member there.

Now I live in Florida because my job transferred me here when my company closed its plant in Chamblee. All of my insurance rates tripled, automobile, homeowners, personal umbrella, etc. Even my firearms policy went from $130 to over $300 per year. I can only imagine what a gun range has to pay for liability in the Gunshine state.

And the only store that has 45 Colt cowboy nearby is Bass Pro Shop at $25 for a 20 round box.

Enjoy patronizing your local store with reasonable prices.
