Need A Restoration Specialist For Antique Spur Repair
Can anyone recommend someone who does quality repairs on antique spurs? It might even be someone who makes spurs as a primary occupation.
I have one or two pair that need restoration, and these I plan to keep. One pair was made by Kelly Bros. and another by Wally Boone.
Yes, I know that spur repair is frowned upon, but these two pair have little to lose!
You might try Bill Fuchs(Lever-action Bill) here on the Forum. He appears to be a very skilled all around metal fabricator.
My grandpa told me the reason for spurs was to wheel unconscious drunks out of the saloon.
