What are your fees from ffl dealer for a transfer?

Here in Missouri it's about $30. I've never seen higher than $35.

I went into a gun store tonight that I never knew about and they charge $50. That's ridiculous, and I told them that. It takes less than 5 minutes for verification.

$10. Occassionally $20 if I don't want to drive as far here in Texas. The $10 guy just has his FFL for transfers. He doesn't even sell guns.

Transfer costs like $75 to $150 or more if the ffl scales cost to price of firearm. Plus registration and tax. Talking about kommiefornia.
Of course the rare decent ffl will ask $25 to $40 plus registration and tax. Not referring to face to face PPT.

$30. I go to the guy from whom I took my CCL class; he's only 10 minutes away and doesn't sell guns, just does transfers. $30 is a good deal around here. Others are as high as $50. I think $30 is more than fair.

I found a FFL that charges $20, if paying cash. $25 for card.

    Some charge up to $40.

I charge $25 per non-NFA weapon. I don't do cards, just cash or check.

If the firearm is unique or a little one off like most of the things I accumulate, he doesn't charge me if I let him shoot it.

My FFL charges me $20, but many are now charging $40 to $50. Vermont recently passed a law requiring background checks on private sales, so if you want to sell to a friend, or neighbor, you both need to go to an FFL and pay to run the transaction.

Forty five dollars seems to be average in my area of Florida. Florida had an $8.00 BG fee, most only charge $5.00, some include it.
We use an FFL that charges me $25.00 as a member of our gun club.

People seem to think that the FFL just calls in the transfer. The FFL has to log it in, and then log it out to the buyer, and do the call in. Sometimes the call in can take awhile, in Florida they can do the BG with a computor which seems to go quickly. Time is money these days, I remember when Graf & Sons and Midway had Free Shipping
