    Dang jimmac, I was hoping to find something like this when I rehabbed an old farm house years ago, but all I found was mouse turds, wasp nests and corn cobs. Nice find.

    I traded for a 4 digit 71 at the last Tulsa gun show. It appears to be a Special (Deluxe) but I doubt it is.

    I've got an 1892 32-20 SRC W/Button Mag. from 1927; Model 71 Deluxe .348 from the 1940's, a 94 Trapper 30-30 from the 80's; and a 94 John Wayne 32-40 that's a shooter. I love the lever action rifle! Beautiful pictures of wonderful lever actions! Thank you all for sharing!
