    Kopec passed?

I heard, at a local show Saturday, that John Kopec had died. Anyone have confirmation of that? Thanks.

I just checked Redding, CA obituaries and did not see his name. I pray he is still with us.

A few years ago there was a rumor that I passed away! Remember what Mark Twain said.

I just called Kopec and got his machine. I then called Charles Layson and Scott Woller, neither of whom have heard of this...but they are making calls.

Several 'John Kopecs' have passed recently - none in Redding, though.

If maybe with rare exception ( and or small Towns, ) Newspapers do not print 'Obits' unless someone pays them a lot of money to do so.

Gone are the days when Newspapers did this merely out of Community membership / service, manners.

It's like 3 to 6 hundred dollars now for a little paragraph, most places.

YIKES! I'll have the old woman call the gun shops in the area, should accomplish the same thing.
