This S&W Model 39 9mm was a police seized pistol that was traded in at a LGS.

Now the search will be on for some stags or maybe pearls. Add a nice holster and some polishing with Flitz, this might become a “Sunday go to meeting” gun!!

Best,
Charles

I don't own any nickel plated guns but if I came across one of the dual tone Government Models from the 1950's or '60's I'd be hard pressed to walk away, The dual tone layout that Colt's used does away with any objections that I have towards that finish. Looks pretty damn good on their nickel plated revolvers too.

This redone S&W Model 53 is kind of unique, albeit not a Colt. Something new for younger folks who were not around back whenandmayfindinteresting! From Pete’s old files

Blued Model 53 with dual cylinders
