    WW2 Era FN High Power

Pictures of a WW2 era FN High Power that, according to Andy Vanderlinden's book, was made in early 1940 just before the German Army invaded Belgium. The small 'c' inside a square was only used during that period of time. The early Nazi-marked slotted, tangent sight Hi Powers started in the mid-44000 SN range.
In addition to the original Belgium markings, there appears to be a couple extra proofs. One appears to be a W over the Belgium proof on the front of the right side of the trigger-guard and the other a truncated 'N5' on the front left trigger-guard.
Looking for comments about any/all proofs.

Terry, nice P35. I don't have a clue about the proofs but I was always impressed with the tangent sights and the optimism of a 500 yard, 4-5/8" barreled 9mm!

Nice pre-war High Power, is the magazine marked with the same proof marks? Can you provide a couple photos of the magazine also if you don't mind? Thanks

The magazine is of the correct style, but I suspect it is of later vintage. I will shoot some pictures and post them later.

After 500 yards, you could probably catch A 9mm round with your bare hands?

Try it and give us a field report afterwards. I'm interested in hearing about the experience.

I'll catch that bullet in my teeth, blindfolded and with my hands tied behind my back.
    Video will be posted soon.
